At Little Company of Mary Hospital we offer specially-designed LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum) suites, where patients may have a private experience. Each suite is equipped with a birthing bed, which is comfortable for the mother during labor and can be quickly converted for delivery. There is a place in the suites for the father or significant other to stay, as well as room for other family members who wish to participate in the birthing experience. Most exciting, there is room in these suites for a bassinet, so mothers can remain with their babies throughout their stay at the hospital.

At Little Company of Mary Hospital — San Pedro, there are 8 LDRP suites, where patients may have a private experience with beautiful harbor and hillside views. We have also included some special touches, private bathrooms with showers and refrigerators in each suite. To celebrate the birth of your new baby, we have arranged special dinners for you and your family, including a special menu.

At Little Company of Mary Hospital – Torrance, the highlight of the new unit are 22 LDRP suites, where patients may have a private experience. We have also included some special touches, private bathrooms with showers in each suite, with availability of bathtubs for labor relaxation. There are refrigerators, video and internet access. A labor bar is available to ease the labor process.
