The Beach Cities Health District is partnering with Little Company of Mary to create
the most comprehensive outpatient health care center available for women in the South
Bay. Key elements will include:

A Health Resource Center containing a complete multimedia library, as well as
access to the Internet.
|
|
•
|
A Fitness Center providing patients with a specialized exercise program for their individual
needs. A post-surgery exercise program is also available with a referral from a
physician.
|
|
•
|
An Advanced Practice Nurse/Therapist to assist
in the facilitation and coordination of care/education and referrals.
|
|
•
|
Prevention, Wellness Lectures, Classes and Screenings including more than 70 classes that
are offered each quarter—exercise classes such as Pilates and Yoga, cooking classes
such as Cooking with Soy, and stress reduction courses.

|
|

Little Company of Mary Outpatient Center – Beach Cities to meet a variety of
health care needs:

Same-Day Surgery.
|
|
•
|
An Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging System (MRI).
|
|
•
|
Pain Management Programs. Little Company of Mary offers a hospital-based program for
acute episodes of pain and an outpatient pain management program in our Same-Day Surgery
Department. Little Company of Mary Hospital and Beach Cities Health District are also
developing a community-based pain management program.

|
Massage Therapy. Licensed massage therapists are on staff in our Physical Therapy clinic
and work to relieve tense muscles that may hinder health and well-being.

|
Deluxe Surgical Recovery Rooms. We call them our RSVP rooms — Relaxed, Stylish
and Very Private. These spacious rooms offer all the comfort and privacy of a luxury
hotel, with the added security of top-quality, professional medical care. RSVP rooms
have amenities such as panoramic ocean views, private phones and overnight guest
accommodations.

throughout the South Bay area, including:

Support and networking groups, as well as individual counseling.
|

Financial and insurance counselors.
|

Pharmacological counselors.
|

Consultations and referrals for clinical trials through Cancer Care Associates’
affiliation with UCLA and other cancer groups.

Additional programs and services offered through the Little Company of Mary integrated
health care system and the Beach Cities Health District.
