Pre-registration:
By the end of your 6th month, please bring your pre-registration forms to the hospital.
We also need a copy of your insurance card and your signatures witnessed by admitting
staff. Admitting hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday in the hospital
main lobby and 8:30 am - 4:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, in the Diagnostic
Center.

Adding baby to your insurance:
Remember to notify your insurance carrier of the new addition to your family
within the first 30 days after birth.

Finding a doctor:
If this is your first baby and you are interviewing pediatricians, or have a
referral, remember to make sure that the doctor is on your insurance
plan.

Supplies for baby:
The hospital will provide diapers, t-shirts, blankets, formula, pacifiers and
so on. Parents need to provide an outfit to go home in and a blanket. When
leaving the hospital, feel free to take the extra diapers, formula, and pacifier.
Please leave the hospitals t-shirts and blankets.

Clothing for your stay:
Bring your toiletries: Tooth brush, shampoo, lotion, razor, etc

Dads staying the night:
Dads may not use the patients bathroom. There is a separate bathroom for them
to use.

Social Security card:
Parents can order their babys Social Security card through the hospital.

Phone calls:
Patients can not make long-distance phone calls from patient rooms. Cell phones
must be turned off, except on the first floor (main lobby/cafeteria).
