Located on our Beach Cities Campus, this center is designed specially to care for
mildly ill children. New parents can feel secure knowing that their sick child will
be well cared for, so they can return to work with peace of mind. The center is open
from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm Monday through Friday and is available to our South Bay

Finding access to pediatric care in the middle of the night is a worrisome task
for parents. For this reason, we’ve developed the Pediatric Call Service,
consisting of a group of community pediatricians who provide pediatric care when
it’s most difficult for parents and other caregivers to access care. The service
is available during the hours of 6:00 pm - 6:00 am weekdays, and 1:00 pm - 6:00 am
weekends and specified holidays.
Many times, the nurse can answer your question directly or she will recommend the
pediatrician on call. If the nurse feels your child needs to be seen, she will
recommend you bring your child to our ER or to the ER which your insurance requires

Little Company of Mary Hospital – Torrance offers the only emergency room in
the South Bay with emphasis on pediatric emergency care. Specially trained physicians
and medical staff will offer quick access to emergency services for patients, age 0-18,
which will enable families to bypass the lengthy wait times associated with adult
patients. Pediatric ER is part of the Fast Track quick emergency access program. Call

A collaboration between Little Company of Mary and the community, this program brings its
“doctor’s office on wheels,” — a 36-foot, state-of-the-art mobile
pediatric van — to local elementary schools and community sites. The van is staffed
with a pediatric nurse practitioner and provides free medical care to children in need.
