The Little Company of Mary Kid’s Care Station accepts children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, excluding major holidays. The cost of the program is $6 per hour, with a four-hour minimum. Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted for payment. An advance telephone reservation is required. Call (310) 937-1974 anytime of the day or night before the child is to attend the Kid’s Care Station. Parents are requested to pre-register their children for the Kid’s Care Station and are also required to bring proof of their child’s immunizations.

Upon arrival at the Kid’s Care Station, the child will receive an admission assessment from a Registered Nurse. At this time, any medications the child is taking are discussed with the parent and labeled and the child is assigned an identification wristband. The Kid’s Care Station staff makes every effort to have the admitting process completed within 15 minutes, so parents can be off to work quickly—with the assurance that their child is in very capable hands.

Parents are encouraged to bring familiar toys and personal belongings for their child’s comfort. Diapers and bottles are required for infants. Parents may also wish to bring food for the child; however, breakfast and lunch are available for an extra charge.

The Kid’s Care Center is located at the Little Company of Mary Outpatient Care Center, within the Beach Cities Health Center at 54 North Prospect Avenue (between Del Amo Boulevard and Beryl Street) in Redondo Beach. Turn into the main entrance and park in an on-site parking structure. Enter the Little Company of Mary Outpatient Care Center and follow the colorful signs to the Kid’s Care Station.
